Technological transition to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact in trawling: Initial energy characterization and digital monitoring on the vessel *Germans Maura*.
The project aims to acquire data under real-world traditional fishing conditions, using both field campaigns and sensor-based data collection. This enables the creation of a high-resolution spatial and temporal data matrix (covering various seasons, sea states, headings, and engine loads), resulting in a robust characterization of the vessel's energy and operational behavior under current conditions.
